Forced disappearance

It was hard for me to hold back my tears when I was reading a newspaper report about a press conference by the family members of those ill-fated ones who were picked up by some people who had introduced themselves as members of an elite force. Sadly, they completely disappeared and nobody knows how and where they are. The victims' family tried to lodge complaints against the elite force, but police refused to accept the case. The elite force denied the allegations against them but failed to rescue the victims. Mothers are crying for their children and children for their brothers, the sight is heart-breaking.  Sometime I wonder what kind of a society we are living in when some living persons disappeared in thin air and never returned. I think all of us should unite and call upon the government to rescue those who were forced to disappear in the manner as above and return them to their near and dear ones.
