Foreign currency reserve reaches its lowest, says Mujahid

COX'S BAZAR, June 6 (UNB): Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid said Friday that prolonging the rule of the un-elected government would cause more harm to the nation.

Addressing the party's Rokon conference at a local hotel, he said the foreign currency reserve reached its lowest during the tenure of the present government.

Mujahid stressed the need for an elected government, saying that the country would regress further unless a people's representative government assumes office through election.
