Foreign journos urged to uphold BD image

State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam has urged a group of visiting foreign journalists to uphold Bangladesh’s success stories achieved in the areas of socio-economy, education and health in their respective countries’ mass media.“You can play a significant role in upholding Bangladesh’s positive image,” he said while interacting with 10 foreign journalists at a city hotel on Saturday night. Shahriar also urged them to highlight the massive development initiative taken by the government. Media personalities from Bangladesh were also present, said a foreign ministry media release on Sunday, according to a news agency.
