Foreign student robbed of Tk 0.2m in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, May 29: Miscreants snatched away Tk 0.2 million Thursday from a foreign student at gunpoint  at Prabartak Square under Panchlaish thana in the city.
The victim, Lardez Warren, is an MBBS final year student of Chittagong Medical College (CMC) hailing from Malaysia.
Muggers stopped his rickshaw on way to CMC around 8.30 am and snatched away his money bag.
He was injured while trying to resist the muggers. He was given first aid, said officer in charge (OC) of the Panchlaish thana Abu Jafar Omar Faruk.
