Forkan verdict on Thursday

The war crimes tribunal will deliver its verdict against Patuakhali’s Forkan Mollick on Thursday. Forkan has been accused of killing eight people, organising mass killings, four cases of rape, forcibly converting three people, evicting 13 families and forcing them to leave the country. He also stands accused of vandalising and looting 64 homes and shops during the Liberation War. He has also been accused of being involved in five cases of arson. The International Crimes Tribunal -2 led by Justice Obaidul Hassan concluded the trial on Jun 14, when it kept the verdict pending, according to a news agency.
