Form body to identify plotters of Aug 15: DU VC

Dhaka University vice chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique has recommended forming a commission to identify the conspirators behind the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other members of his family. He made this recommendation while addressing, titled ‘Life and Works of Bangabandhu’, held at the Teachers-Students Centre (TSC) auditorium at DU on Friday. The DU vice chancellor said the conspirators involved in the assassinations of Bangabandhu on August 15, 1975, as well as those involved in the killing of four national leaders later on must be identified. The traitors should be unmasked to make us aware about them, he added, according to AFP.
