Friday, 1 May 2015

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 set May 17 to submit formal charge against Habiganj Razakar Mohibur Rahman alias Boro Miah and Mozibur Rahman alias Angur Miah, reports BSS.
The ICT-2 set the date as prosecutor Sultan Mahmud Simon submitted progress report into investigation against the duo and sought three weeks' time to submit the formal charge.
On Wednesday, the investigation agency of the ICT completed their primary probe against Mohibur and his brother Mozibur.
Chief coordinator of the agency, Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan, said this at a press briefing at its Dhanmandi safe house on Wednesday morning.
The investigation agency has brought four charges against duo, accused of raising a gang of Razakars in Baniachang upazila in Habiganj and establishing a camp in the locality.
They raided the houses of Freedom Fighters and pro-liberation people, carried out monstrous crimes like killing, raping, looting valuables and arson.
Mohibur and his brother Mozibur, incumbent chairman of Khagaura union parishad under Baniachong upazila of Habiganj, were arrested on February 10, 2015, soon after the tribunal issued arrest warrant against them.
