Formation of three more war crime tribunals demanded

Speakers at a discussion Saturday demanded formation of two or three more tribunals for quick completion of the trial of war criminals, reports BSS.
The speakers called upon the Awami League (AL) led 14-party alliance and other pro-democratic forces to bring the freedom fighters (FFs) and young generation under one umbrella with the spirit of the liberation war in 1971 to face conspiracy of the BNP-Jama'at alliance to foil the trial.
"Daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has begun the trial of war criminals and the trial will be completed in due time," whip of the Jatiya Sangsad ASM Firoz, MP, said while addressing a discussion ornagised by Joy Bangla Muktijoddha Parishad at Diploma Engineers' Institute.
He called upon the pro-liberation forces to come forward to materialise the Vision-2021 declared by Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina.
Chaired by organisation president and FF M Nizamuddin, the discussion was also addressed by Mahbub Uddin, Bir Bikram, Rawshan Ara, MP, Dhaka City Awami League Publicity Secretary Abdul Haque Sobuj, Mozammel Hossain, Bir Pratik, singer Abdul Zabbar and Advocate Enamul Haque Firoj.
