Former Education Minister ASHK Sadeue passes away

Jessore, Sept 9 (UNB) - Awami League leader and former Education Minister ASHK Sadeque died of cardiac arrest at his Keshabpur upazila headquarters’ residence Sunday early morning. Family sources said the veteran politician, who came here along with his wife a few days ago from his Gulshan residence in Dhaka, felt chest pain and died shortly. He left behind his wife, a son and a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. His son and daughter are settled in America. His first Namaj-e-Janaza was held here in the morning. Family sources said the body of ASHK Sadeque would be kept at a mortuary in Dhaka until the arrival of his son and daughter from America.
