Former Jessore MP Shakhawat arrested on war crimes charges

Former Jessore MP Shakhawat Hossain has been arrested on war crimes charges.
He was detained from Dhaka's Uttarkhan Saturday evening, DMP Uttara division Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Hossain confirmed bdnews24.com.
Uttarkhan police OC Yunus Ali said he had been arrested after the International Crimes Tribunal issued a warrant for him.
