FE Special
NOW-A-DAYS it is very commonly seen that towards the end of university education, some students become very much aware and alert about their overseas university admission. They are not satisfied with what education they have and they want to fulfill their ambition by getting themselves admitted into a renowned foreign university. They start taking preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, etc. Many start going to coaching centres for a good preparation for these exams. Going to such institutes can be helpful.
Many do not want to go to such institutes. Many cannot afford to pay the fees there. Forming an association--that is arranging group study--can be extremely helpful in such a situation. Such arrangement will be of great benefit for them. Studying in a group will be helpful even for those who are already going to coaching centres. This will be a positive new dimension to their preparation.
One of the big pluses of studying together is: one can raise even a very small thing which might be considered 'silly' to others. Whoever has knowledge on that will come up with the solution. In this way, every problem, be it easy or difficult, can be discussed in a group study.
Different members of the association or group have different strength, if all strengths are put together, that will be very helpful. For example, for the preparation of GMAT, someone might know mathematics, he or she can help others of the team who are not so good in mathematics. Similarly, whoever knows 'critical reasoning' very well can make others understand the same.
Being in such a situation will be helpful for all the group members to remain focused on their targets. Since they talk about their target very often, they are not deviated from their path. This helps them be on the track all the time and make their preparation easier.
The very task of forming an association should begin from the very beginning of the university life. Many students in India do this and they become successful in the long run. But better late than never, if you could not do it in time, do it today. You can always cover the losses provided that you put some extra efforts.
Even if someone is not willing to go for studies in overseas universities, he or she can still take preparation in this way. Such preparation will be helpful for any kind of admission test in Bangladesh and for recruitment tests--for example, recruitment tests for banks and other organisations.
