Fortnight long book fair begins

A fortnight long book fair began on the premises of Bangladesh Shishu Academy in the city Tuesday, reports BSS. Ministry of Woman and Children Affairs organised the fair on the occasion of the 91st birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury inaugurated the fair as chief guest while Secretary of the ministry Tariq-ul-Islam and Agrani Bank Managing Director Md Nurul Alam Talukder, among others, addressed the function. Shishu Academy Director Falguni Hamid presided over function.
