Foundation stone of Habiganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry laid

HABIGONJ, Aug 24 (BSS): The foundation stone of the Habiganj chamber of commerce and industry building was laid here today by M Abu Zahir MP in a simple ceremony.
It will be a four-storied building at a cost of Taka 7.5 million in Rajnagar area of the district town.
Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country's apex trade body, has granted Taka 5 million for purchasing the land and start construction.
Habiganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry has donated the remaining Taka 2.5million.
President of Habiganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tokammul Hossain Kamal, Vice-presidents Shamim Amed and Abdur Rahman and other directors of the chamber were present.
