Foundation stone of IT Training, Incubation Centre laid at Pirganj

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury laid the foundation stone of the Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre at Pirganj in Rangpur as the chief guest on Thursday from Dhaka through videoconferencing, says a statement.
The Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority is setting up the Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centres at eight places across the country to produce efficient manpower. The places are in Chattogram, Sylhet, Rangpur, Natore, Cumilla, Netrakona, Barishal and Magura. The work on the project involving Tk 5.33 billion (533 crore) began in 2017.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak was present at the function as the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority Managing Director (Secretary) Hosne Ara Begum said five hi-tech parks in the country are now ready for investments.
