Four-day Thai trade fair begins in city on May 5

Thai government will organise a four-day trade exhibition in Dhaka this week to further bolster relations between the business communities of the two countries.
The Department of Export Promotion and the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand will organise the 'Thailand Trade Exhibition-2010' beginning at the city's Sonargaon Hotel Wednesday (May 5).
Agro-products, chemicals, electrical products, food and beverage, garments and fashion, gems and jewelry, gifts and decoration pieces, health and beauty products, kitchenware, lady's bags and footwear, plastic and stationery goods will be showcased in the fair.
The Royal Thai Embassy disclosed it at a press conference in the city Sunday. "About 47 Thai manufacturers and exporters will display their goods at 52 booths of the four-day exhibition," Thai Ambassador Tassanawadee Miancharoen said.
