Four dead bodies recovered

SYLHET, July 8(UNB): Police recovered four dead bodies from Sylhet and Sunamganj districts Saturday and Sunday.
In Sylhet, police recovered the body of Shahida Khatun (20), wife of rickshaw-puller Mahir Uddin from the courtyard of her house at Madar Khal village under Jokiganj Upazila Saturday night.
Police suspected that miscreants killed the newlywed victim following a previous enmity. The body was sent to the Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
In Sunamganj, police recovered the hanging body of Dilara Begum (40), wife of late Kanai Mia Master at Asampur village under Jagannathpur Upazila Saturday.
The reason behind her suicide could not be known.
Meanwhile, a housewife allegedly committed suicide at Kalaura village under Doarabazar Upazila of the district.
The deceased was identified as Rahima Begum (26), wife of Saudi expatriate Zamal Uddin of the village. Police quoting family sources said Rahima hanged herself following a family feud.
In yet another incident an employee of a confectionery shop was electrocuted in Badhanpara area of the district town Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Maidul Islam (30), son of Abdul Hamid of Kalishail village of Kishoreganj district.
