Four die in Dinajpur, Sylhet, Jessore crashes

Four people were killed in a separate road accidents in Dinajpur, Sylhet and Jessore districts from Saturday morning to evening. A motorcyclist killed in a road crash in Nawabganj upazila of Dinajpur district in the evening. The dead is Anwar Hossain Dulal, 35, son of late Taslim Uddin of Matihara village of Putimara union of Nawabganj. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Nawabganj Police Station Md. Shamsul Islam Dulal was talking with mobile phone when he was driving his bike on Birampur-Ghoraghat highway. A bus hit Dulal’s bike at Charaihat, leaving him dead on the spot. In Sylhet, an auto-rickshaw driver died after a truck hit the three-wheeler at Noasork in Sylhet city in the morning. The victim was identified as Alal Miah, 35, son of Armoj Ali of Sonarpara village in Balaganj upazila of the north-eastern district. In Jessore, two people were killed as a truck hit them on Jessore-Magura highway in Sadar upazila in the afternoon. The victims were identified as Matiar Rahman of Hashimpur village in Jessore Sadar upazila, and Wajiullah of Pachbaria village. Police said a soil-laden truck rammed a tea stall beside a highway and overturned at Hasimpur Bazar under Kotwali Police Station as its driver lost control over the steering. The incident left Motiar and Wajiullah, who were standing at the tea stall, dead on the spot, according to a news agency.
