Four die in Munshiganj road accident

At least four people were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Gazaria upazila in Munshiganj district on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased could not be identified. Police and locals said four people, who were traveling in a pickup van, died on the spot when the vehicle turned over at Anarpura on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway around 5pm. Sergeant of Bhaberchar Highway Police Md Saiful Hasan, quoting witnesses, said the pickup, carrying passengers, overturned after hitting a road divider. Four people who were in the pickup died on the spot and three others injured in the accident. The injured were rescued and rushed to a local hospital, according to a news agency.
