Four die in Naogaon road crash

A head on collision between a truck and a battery-run auto-rickshaw has left four persons dead in Naogaon district. The dead were all passengers of the auto-rickshaw. The accident around 11:00am on Wednesday at Mahadebpur area left two other people injured, said Naogaon Sadar Police Station’s OC Jakirul Islam. ‘The truck hit the auto-rickshaw near the Hapania Madrasa intersection leaving the four dead on the spot. The injured have been taken to Naogaon Sadar Hospital,’ he said. The victims are yet to be identified, said the police officer, according to a news agency.
