Four die in Natore, Manikganj crashes

Three people were killed in Singra upazila of Natore district while a man was crushed under a truck in Manikganj district in separate road accidents on Thursday. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Singra Police Station M Nasir Uddin said a truck overturned and ran over the three unidentified people when they were repairing the vehicle with the support of ‘Jack’ (a tool on which a vehicle stands when wheels of vehices are removed) around 10:45am, leaving one dead on the spot and two other people injured. Locals rescued rushed the injured to a nearby hospital where they died after admission. In Manikganj, a man was killed as a BRTC bus ran over him while he was getting on it on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in bus stand area of Manikganj town around 9:00am. The deceased was identified as Abul Hossain, resident of Baghutia village of Daulatpur upazila, according to BSS.
