Four exhibitions on textile products begin June 19

Four exhibitions on textile products will be held in the city's Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC) from June 19 to June 22.
The exhibitions in one go are '9th Textech Bangladesh 2008 International Expo', international textile garment technology and machinery Expo, '2nd Dye + Chem Bangladesh 2008 Expo', 2nd Dhaka international yarn and fabric show,08 and 6th Machinexpo Bangladesh 2008.
CEMS-- Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd. - USA-in association with CEMS- Bangladesh is organizing the exhibitions.
"The biggest CEMS exhibition will showcase textile and garment machinery, accessories, dyes and chemicals, general machinery, international yarn and fabric manufacturers," said Meherun N. Islam, managing director of CEMS at a press conference in a city hotel Sunday.
Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty, high commissioner of India to Bangladesh, Anwar-Ul- Alam Chowdhury (Parvez), president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Md. Fazlul Hoque, president of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) will be present at the inauguration ceremony on 19 June at BCFCC.
"The objective of these four exhibitions in one go targeting the business community will play an important role by assembling worldwide technology, machinery and material manufacturers at the doorsteps of the manufacturers of the country under one roof to appraise them of the latest developments and technology available for them," Meherun said.
More than 250 exhibitors from over 15 countries will attend the exhibitions, she added.
