Four gold bars, foreign currencies seized at HSIA

Customs Intelligence officials seized four gold bars worth Tk 2.0 million and UAE currency dinar worth over Tk 3.24 million in two separate incidents at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) Monday, reports UNB.
Ummey Nahida, assistant director of the Directorate of Custom Intelligence and Investigation, said the gold bars weighting 464 grams were recovered from Faraque Hossain, who arrived in Dhaka from Kuwait by an aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
