Four held with 60kg hemp

Detective Branch (DB) of police seized 60kg ganja and arrested four alleged drug peddlers from the Mathua area under Chouddagram Upazila of the Comilla district in the early hours of Monday. A patrol team of District Detective Branch (DB) police conducted a drive in the area and arrested four persons with the ganja. The alleged drug peddlers were identified as Murad Hossen, Mahmmad Wahidur Rahman Wasim, Mohammad Jahed, and Mohammad Abu Saleh Ripon. A case was filed with Chouddagram police station in this connection under the Narcotics Control Act. - BSS
