Four Indians held with 5.7kg gold at Petrapole

BENAPOLE (Jessore), Jun 20 (UNB): Customs officials at India's Petrapole check post arrested four Indian nationals along with 57 gold bars weighing 5.700 kg while they were returning home from Bangladesh Friday noon.
Being tipped off that four Indian citizens were returning home with the gold, the customs officials searched their luggage at Petrapole check post and recovered the gold, said Jahangir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Benapole Immigration Police.
Later, the Indian customs officials arrested them.
