Four killed in road accidents

BARISAL, Dec 6 (UNB): Three people were killed in separate road accidents in the city Saturday night.
Police said Rafikul Islam (35), a sales representative of Kohinoor Chemical Industries Limited and former JCD leader of Gournadi Upazila was wounded when a bus hit him near Barisal Cadet College on his way to Gouranadi at about 10 pm.
Later, he succumbed to his injuries on way to Dhaka for treatment early Sunday.
In another incident, Nazrul Mistri (31) and Mohsin Mia (40), two bicycle riders, were killed when they were dashed by a speedy bus on Barisal-Bhola road in Kundu Bari area at about 8:00 pm.
Another report from Magura adds: A minor boy was killed when a Dhaka- bound passenger bus ran over him at Ramnagar on Magura-Kamarkhali road in Sadar Upazila Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Abu Shahin (5), son of Abul Basher of Durgapur village in the Upazila.
