Four killed in separate incidents in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Feb 10 (BSS): Four persons including two housewives and an adolescent were killed in separate incidents at different places in the district during the past 24 hours till this morning, police sources said.
Bicyclist Lalon Chandra Roy (30), son of Khitish Chandra Roy of village Chandonerhat under Gangachara Upazila, was killed after a truck crushed him at Paglapeer point on the Rangpur- Dinajpur highway here last evening.
Noorjahan (38), wife of Abu Bakar Siddik of village Taluk Upashu under Pirgachha Upazila allegedly committed suicide by taking poison at home following long ailments.
Housewife Ataunnesa (45), wife of Kazim Ali of village Binbinar Char under Gangachara Upazila, allegedly took poison at home for unknown reason and later died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
Maidservant Farida (14), daughter of Moshiur Rahman, of village Darshona Nazir Dighar under Sadar Upazila, was mysteriously burnt and admitted to the RMCH in a critical condition where she succumbed.
