Four killed in separate road accidents

JHENIDAH, Dec 17: Two rashly driven trucks and a bus ran down four people, including two minor boys, in separate road accidents much the same time in Shailakupa, Kotchandpur and Harinakundu upazilas of the district Wednesday and Thursday. The police and witnesses said a truck rammed a motorcycle carrying three youths at Bhatoibazar in Shailakupa Upazila at about 11:30am, leaving two of them dead on the spot. The deceased are Bipul (30) and Nazer (32). Another rider, Azizul, injured in the accident was admitted into Sadar Hospital. — UNB
