Four more Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia

Four more Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia, raising the total number of deaths to 41 this year's pilgrimage.
Among the deceased, 27 were men and 14 were women, with 30 deaths reported in Makkah and 11 in Madinah, the Hajj portal bulletin of the Ministry of Religious Affairs' reported on Sunday.
It also said 11,613 pilgrims had returned home as of Sunday (May 31, 20260, following the completion of Hajj rituals.
According to the ministry portal, some 1,253 pilgrims returned under government management and 10,360 under private arrangements.
A total of 179 pilgrims received treatment at local hospitals in Saudi Arabia, while 262 others are currently under treatment.
Return flights began on May 30 and will continue until June 30, the bulletin added.
