Four of a family suffer burns in AC explosion in city

Four members of a family suffered burn injuries after an air-conditioner (AC) exploded in their house in the capital on Saturday. The explosion occurred at Dhalpur Bou Bazar in Jatrabari area at around 1:30 am.
The injured were identified as Tuhin Hossain (38), his wife Iba Aktar (30), and their two sons Tanvir (9) and Tawhid (7). They were admitted to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital.
Iba's sister Farjana Aktar, who took them to the hospital, said the AC exploded when her sister, brother-in-law and their two children were asleep.
