Four robbers to die for killing six in city

A speedy trial tribunal awarded death penalty to four robbers for murdering six people during a robbery at Pallabi of the city in 2006. Judge AHM Mushtaque Ahmed pronounced the verdict in a crowded courtroom as the convicts appeared on the dock under tight security. The victims were a guard, two housemaids, a boy servant and two outsiders who went there to take jakat. — BSS
