Four-storey building tilts in Keraniganj

Keraniganj, July 7 (UNB): An under-construction four-storey building leaned towards a pond in Subadda Paschimpara area of south Keraniganj in Dhaka district on Monday night.
No one was injured in the incident, said police. M Jamal Uddin Mir, officer-in- charge of south Keraniganj police station, said one Shahidul Islam is the owner of the building, which leaned at 10.30pm.
Locals informed police when it leaned at night. On information, police visited the spot. The building had been constructed with week piling works with its foundation being near the pond, added the OC.
