Free flow of info curbs corruption, says CAAB Chairman

Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmood Siddiq Thursday said free flow of information plays a significant role in enhancing administrative efficiency and preventing corruption, reports BSS.
He made the remarks while addressing a training programme virtually as the chief guest on the Right to Information held at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, organized by the CAAB, said a press release here.
The chairman said the Right to Information Act is one of the most effective instruments for establishing good governance, transparency and accountability, enabling citizens to play an active role in decision-making.
