Saturday, 2 August 2014
Palestinian officials in Gaza say more than 100 people have been killed by Israeli missile strikes since the collapse of a temporary ceasefire on Friday. Most of the deaths have been in or around Rafah where Israeli forces are carrying out a search and rescue operation for a missing Israeli soldier, Hadar Goldin. Hamas says it does not know the whereabouts of the soldier who disappeared as Israeli forces tried to destroy a militant tunnel, according to BBC.
