DURING our student life, we first go to primary school, then secondary school, then college and at last to university. We come across many teachers at every stage. Some of them become our favourites. We become fond of those teachers who are friendly to us. It is easier for us to mix with those teachers who have been already friendly. All of us realize that a friendly relation between teachers and students is helpful for both parties--to impart and to receive knowledge. Students can try to make friendship with those teachers who are apparently not friendly. These seemingly 'difficult-minded' teachers also have soft minds and if they can be approached properly and at the right time, they may also break the barriers and be good friends to the students. When there is easy and friendly relationship between teachers and students, students may go to the teachers with their any academic issue. Learners will be free from inertia. They will feel comfortable to discuss with their teachers any lesson, about how to do good in exams, about choosing career path. Teachers will also feel energized to assist their students--their new friends. At academia, we begin our learning process. The process continues throughout our life. Even after graduation if we are connected with our teachers who are regular in reading books, we can share with them our knowledge--what we have read recently and what else can be read in coming days. If students get less marks in the exams, they can always go to their teachers--their friends--can learn about their mistakes and take tips for future tests. Teachers can also suggest students about their career. Days in academia will be more enjoyable if students can make teachers their friends and vice versa. Institutes in this way will also be connected with its alumnus for long term basis. Current students will also be benefited from alumnus students and vice versa. For a more friendly relationship between students and teachers, there will be more interest about studies, about reading books, about writing habit in our society.
