FSIBL Hathazari branch distributes blankets

CHITTAGONG, Jan 14: First Security Islami Bank's Hathazari Branch distributed blankets among the poor people of the locality today.
Presided over by branch manager Syed Kutub Uddin Alam the function was attended as chief guest by Pro-vice Chancellor of Chittagong University Professor Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury.
Chowdhury thanked the branch manager and other officials and employees of the branch for helping the distressed in their time of need and the initiative is praise-worthy.
He said that the poor people have been suffering a lot having no warm clothes in the winter season. The bank has responded to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the wealthy persons and institutions to come forward with their helping hand as part of their social responsibility.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Hathazari Md Moazzem Hossain addressed the function as special guest.
Branch Manager Syed Kutub Uddin Alam said despite being a third generation bank the First Security Islami Bank through its 137 branches throughout the country has been working for the welfare of the distressed.
