Fu-Wang Foods approves 6pc cash dividend

The 12th annual general meeting (AGM) of Fu-Wang Foods Limited was held in the city recently, says a press release.
The meeting was presided over by chairman of the company Hsu Chin Hua. Managing Director of the company Arif Ahmed Chowdhury, Independent Director Faruque Ahmed, Public Director Biplob Chakraborty, Company Secretary Md Abdul Halim Thakur and shareholders were present in the meeting.
Shareholders of the company approved 6 per cent cash dividend for the year ended June 30, 2008 and reappointed Arif Ahmed Chowdhury as Managing Director of the company for the next five years. The meeting also passed other agenda.
