Fulfilling of electoral pledges reiterated

NOAKHALI, Sept 27 (BSS): State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury Sunday reiterated that the government's electoral pledges to the people would be fulfilled.
The state minister was speaking at a discussion on "Checking Women Repression".
The government wanted to remain with the country's people through development works instead of talks, she said.
District Puja Udjapan Parishad organised the discussion with upazila chairman Hassan Ahmed in the chair.
The discussion was addressed, among others, by deputy commissioner of the district Mizanur Rahman, Superintendent of Police (SP) Harun-or-Rashid Hazari, Chatkhil UNO ASM Shahnaz Parvez and Awami League leaders and workers.
