Full-fledged DU BCL committee unveiled

After 14 months, the Dhaka University (DU) unit Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has got its full-fledged committee.
The committee comprised of 279 members of the BCL unit was announced on Monday.
The announcement was made in a circular signed by BCL Central President Saddam Hossain, General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan, DU Chhatra League President Mazharul Kabir Shayon and General Secretary Tanvir Hasan Saikat.
In the announced committee, 61 members have got the post of vice-president, 11 the post of joint general secretary, 11 the position of organising secretary and 36 members have been placed in other posts.
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader had announced the incomplete committee of the DU unit BCL along with the central committee from Ganobhaban on the night of December 20, 2022.
Then the names of Mazharul Kabir Shayon and Tanvir Hasan Saikat were announced as president and general secretary respectively of the DU unit.
On Monday, the committee led by Shayon and Saikat came out with its complete formation.
