Fustrating start for Abahani

Bangladesh champions Abahani Limited made a frustrating start in the AFC President's Cup football tourney as they lost to Nepal Police Club 4-0 in the inaugural match at the MPPJ Stadium in Kuala Lumpur Sunday, reports UNB.
The B League (professional League) champions Abahani Limited went down by 0-2 goals during the first half against last-time finalists Mahendra Police of Nepal, now rechristened as Nepal Police Club.
Abahani Limited, placed in Group A with Pakistan WAPDA, Nepal Police Club and Regar-Tadaz of Tajikistan, will play their 2nd match against AFC President's Cup champions Regar-Tadaz on June 24 and the 3rd and last group match against Pakistan WAPDA on June 26, all at the MPPJ Stadium.
