Galaxy Flying Academy signs deal with Malaysian flying academy

A local private aviation group, Galaxy Flying Academy, has signed an agreement with KL International Flying Academy of Malaysia to exchange students, pilots and flying instructors while also sharing aircraft maintenance support and aircraft lease.
Masudur Rahman, managing director of Galaxy and chief executive of the KL-based academy Abul Bakar signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
Mr. Rahman said it was his dream to establish a world class residential flying academy in Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh-born Canadian citizen expressed his deep gratitude to the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh for extending all the help and support for the initiative.
Galaxy Flying Academy has taken all preparations to conduct ground classes at its head office in Uttara. Galaxy Flying Academy has booked 5 trainer aircraft for shipment from the USA.
The academy has already finalised to construct an aircraft hanger at Rajshahi Airport and conduct flying training from there.
Galaxy has already arranged a hostel for about 30 student pilots and instructors to accommodate them during training at Rajshahi.
