Gangsters stab BCL leader

A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was stabbed by an alleged gang of criminals over extorting money from a coaching centre at China Goli in the city's Azimpur area Saturday last, reports UNB.
The victim was identified as Gazi Abdul Malek (30), assistant secretary of the Dhaka south unit BCL, student wing of the ruling Awami League (AL).
An MBA student of Dhaka University, Malek is son of late Abdul Haque and a resident of Azimpur Government Staff Quarters.
