Garbage truck kills one in city

A man has died after being hit by a garbage truck at Kataban in the city. Police said the truck of the Dhaka City Corporation collided with another truck carrying floor tiles at the Kataban intersection around 3am on Saturday. The garbage truck ran over rickshaw puller Rezaul Karim (25) as its driver lost control, said Nilkhet Police SI Mominul Hoque. —UNB
