Garment factory looted at Savar

Savar, June 5: A gang of thieves looted clothes worth about Tk 5.0 million from a garment factory in Savar on the outskirts of the capital Thursday night after making its night guards unconscious. The police said a night guard named Sirajul Islam of "Bandhu Design Ltd" entertained his five fellow guards with biscuits and cold drinks mixing toxic substance at night. As the guards fell unconscious, the gang looted valuable clothes from the export-oriented garments factory. — UNB
