Garment worker crushed under train in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, Aug 27 (UNB): A garment worker was killed as a train rammed him on a level crossing in Kaliakoir Upazila Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shafiqul Islam, son of Nowab Ali of Chachuri village in Dumuria Upazila in Khulna district.
Locals said Shafiqul, store assistant of a garment factory and a resident of East Chandra area, was crushed under the wheels of a running train while passing Matikata level crossing on his way to Shafipur Bazar.
