Garo woman gang-raped

A Garo woman was allegedly gang-raped by five miscreants inside a microbus in the capital on Thursday night. According to the police, the 21-year-old victim was pushed into the microbus by two persons at around 9:30 pm on the day when she was waiting at the Kuril bus stand for transport to return to her residence at Uttara after completing her duty. Later she was dropped at Jasimuddin Road at Uttara at around 10:45 pm, according to the Bhatara Police Station. The miscreants took turns to rape her while the vehicle roamed around the locality. — FE Report
