Gas-based industries to be set up in Bhola

BHOLA, Sept 7 (BSS): Awami League Presidium Member and Chairman of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun said today the government would take effective steps to ensure the development of the coastal district of Bhola.
Advocate Yusuf Hossain, also Member of Parliament from the area, was addressing a reception accorded to him at the Kobi Mozammel Haque Town Hall.
He assured Bhola people of all supports to protect them from river erosion.
Referring to pre-election pledges of Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina for the development of Bhola, Advocate Yusuf said he had already submitted a proposal to the ministry concerned to build flood protection embankments beside different rivers including Kachiya and Elish.
