Gas cylinder blast: one dies

A woman who suffered burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast in a house at Majibarghat in Kamrangirchar on Saturday morning died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the evening. The deceased was identified as Aklima Begum, 50, a resident of Kamrangirchar. Sources at the DMCH burn unit said Aklima, who was undergoing treatment there with 50 per cent burn injuries, died at its intensive care unit around 6pm, according to a news agency.
