Gas cylinder explosion

We often read news about gas cylinder explosion. The number of such incidents which injure people seriously or even kill them is on the rise. I watched a sorry picture of a child being gravely injured in a gas cylinder explosion. It must have made many people, like me, very sad. I am sure the accident could have been avoided if precaution was taken.
Accidents caused by gas cylinders can result in serious injury or even death. So, those who use gas cylinder must be very careful so that no unwanted incident can happen. Guidance and practical advice on eliminating or reducing the risks associated with using gas cylinders should be provided to the customers.
There are many reasons for gas cylinder explosion like poor handling, faulty equipment, poor storage, hidden damage poor maintenance etc. It is apparent that most of those who use gas cylinders have no knowledge of using and handling it safely and it is the main reason of cylinder explosion. It is ingrained in our society that we flaunt safety rules and that sometimes cost us dearly. We must discard such tendency because prevention is always better than cure.
