Gayebana Janaza for 7 \\\'Pinak-6\\\' victims held in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, Aug 8 (UNB): A gayebana janaza for seven members of a family, who remained missing in the 'Pinak-6' capsize in the Padma River near Mawa Ferryghat, was held at Satroshi village in Sadarpur Upazila Friday.
The missing are Farida Akhter Shimu, daughter of Mohammad Matubbar of Satrashi village, her husband M Rubel, their daughters Faiza, 7, and Fateha, 3, Shimu's brother Sobhan Matubbar, 35, his wife Yeasmin Akhter, 25, and their son Ivan, 7.
Several hundred people, including Sadarpur upazila parishad chairman Kazi Shafiqur Rahman, joined the gayebana janaza held at Talukdarbari ground of the village after Juma prayers.
'Pinak-6' capsized in the Padma River near Mawa Ferryghat around 11:15am on Monday with over 250 passengers on board.
