Gayeshwar shown arrested in Bakshibazar case

BNP leader Gayeshwar Chandra Roy was detained by Detective Branch (DB) of police on Friday morning and shown arrested in connection with a case filed over Bakshibazar clash. Though initially police could not ascertain to the cause of his detention, later he was shown arrested in a case filed with Shahbagh Police Station over Wednesday’s violence and arson attack in Bakshibazar and produced before a Dhaka court, according to a news agency.
